A strategic marketing video created for the National Postal Forum trade show promoting the Flats Sequencing System, a brand-new machine for sorting magazines, circulars, and other “flats.” Producer Ross Caroland and I chose to develop the video in the style of a movie trailer in order to generate excitement and “wow” the crowds at the forum. The video showcases the machine’s epic size and complexity through a minimalistic narrative, beautiful shots, and fast-paced editing. This video is by far my favorite project I have worked on thus far during my time at the USPS, because of the creative freedom I was given to mold the piece, and of course, the 25 ft. crane for those spectacular sweeping shots.
