The short open to the documentary Nora! which chronicles Nora Pouillon, owner of Washington, DC’s first certified organic restaurant. I was given some notes saying that the open do something with the menu and existing b-roll, so I started with a 1 tablespoon of organic paper texture and 10 cups of menu items into 2.5D. I floated a camera over the broll as if the video was part of the menu. I topped it off with a bushel of fruit vignette and a pinch of lens flare. Like the food analogy? I’m sure you’re groaning by now.
